Wednesday 30th March - Stableford

Tom Dye just can't stay away from the prizes at the moment! Another cracking round of 40 points has seen his handicap cut to 9 now. Second place in Division 1 went to John Crosbie on 39 points. In the 2nd Division Chris Griffiths was 1st on 36 points, with Mark Spurrell 2nd, 1 point behind.

Thursday 17th March – Ladies EWGA Medal

 The scores reflected the difficult conditions out on the course, with it playing especially tough on the front 9. Paula Burke posted the best score of the day (77) to win the Bronze Division, with Liz Morris winning the Silver Division with an 80. Second Overall went to Irene Mace on 81, winning on countback from Joan Martin

Sunday 6th March – Monthly Medal

Derek Wright showed once again what an excellent golfer he is by going round in only 2 over par gross to win with a net 68. Gary Cooke was playing his first game of 2016, but there were no signs of rustiness as he came 2^nd on 69. Third place went to Mark Spurrell on 70.

Saturday 5th March – Stableford

The top four places all went to new members of the Club, who have all joined within the last 2 months. John Godwin showed once again that he has adapted to the course by scoring an excellent 38 points. Second place was Mike Herbert on 36 points, beating Ash Brett by virtue of countback

Friday 4th March – Veteran’s Stableford

Despite the sunshine, conditions were quite tough for the March Veteran’s Stableford. Top of the pile was Edd Ormston on 37 points, followed by John Smith on 36 and Chris West on 35.
