The first leg of the annual Rosebowl match away against Shanklin & Sandown today finished with a an 8 point lead for our team. This is encouraging as we normally are fighting a deficit at the return leg.
Some great scores from the Freshwater team, the best being 45 points from Rick Penn and Chris Tansley, making their debut pairing in the event. Well played team.
The 2nd leg is being played in early September, when we will attempt to retain the trophy.
